Battered Hilt - RNG Based - 5-30k if u get the hilt - lvl 85+

First of all welcome to the website! We hope you will enjoy ur stay! :)

As first guide we are going to farm Pit of Saron, so be aware, since this is an instance you can only run it 10 times pr. hour!

Lets start out by the requirements to use this method!

1. You need to be at least level 85 to farm this dungeon, as it is a level 80 (Wrath of the Lich King) heroic dungeon

2. You need to have completed the prequest from The Forge of Souls, otherwise you wont be able to enter Pit of Saron. (Guide to complete the prequest is also in this guide)

3. You need to set dungeon difficulty to Heroic.

Items needed:

1. It is recommended that you have tailoring to get a better profit, since tailors have a passive that makes the humanoids drop more Frostweave cloth.

2. Otherwise nothing is really needed, bonus info (you can use your riding mount inside the dungeon, which makes the farming faster.

Also a benefit from this dungeon is that you gain reputation with The Frostborn.

But first of all, the quest that is required to enter Pit of Saron:

First of all, you will need to go to the dungeon named "The Forge of Souls", which can be found the same place as the Pit of Saron, which we are going to farm:

When you enter the room there, you will have to take the dungeon at left.

Once you are inside you will need to talk to the questgiver and accept the quest called "Inside the Frozen Citadel". All you gotta do when you have accepted the quest is to clear out the dungeon. At the end of the dungeon the quest will be completed and Pit of Saron will be unlocked. Enter the portal that appears, when you have killed last boss in The Forge og Souls. Now you will find yourself inside Pit of Saron, and this is where your adventure begins!

onsters inside the red circle is what you are going to kill, every single one of the monsters have a chance of dropping battered hilt. Be aware, that you can venture outside the red circle, and there also a few monsters that can drop battered hilt, but its faster to only kill the monsters inside the red circle, as they are more compact and closer to eachother, making your farming easier and faster.

The item battered hilt:

The battered hilt is acutally a quest item, which many people are hunting due to, that quest gives an awesome sword, that you can use for transmog.

Each run took about 1 minute and 10 seconds, so it wouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

Just remember that you can only do 10 runs pr. hour.

Loot from 10 runs:

Gold looted from the monsters: 61g

Gold from greys and trash: 77g

Gold from vendoring green items: 169g (You can make more if you disenchant the greenies. Also be carefull you do not sell an item people are looking for to transmog)

Frostweave cloth dropped. 45 x 0,44 (AH price) = 20g (with tailoring you will get more cloth)

Battered Hilt dropped: 1 x 13200 (AH price) = 13200g

Gold earned in 10 runs: 13527g

Be aware that these prices are from the server Silvermoon.
